Dancing With Trees

This is a new work currently in the NZ Creative Fibre Exhibition in Timaru.

It is called "Dancing With Trees" and is made from some of Inspire Fibres (Tracy White's) lovely hand dyed merino wool.

The tree trunk is needle felted and the foliage is felted with a little silk incorporated into the wool. The tree stands about 70cm tall.

  2. This is probably one of the most interesting, and beautiful dolls I've seen done up in felt. Your color choices are spectacular! Very nicely done indeed!

I've just started it a couple of days ago Jill, so there is not much there, It is just the start of my story dealing with food allergies, MS, migraine, psoriasis and chronic pain and fatigue. Feel free to check it out, you'll probably learn more than you care to. This is going to be a totally blunt blog about my health and gluten free life.
Will be checking in on your works often. Great eye candy!
    Shalom,
    Suzanne
